Everyone knows that legal cannabis is big business these days, but you might be surprised to find out just how much people spend on legal weed.

One industry observer believes mislabeling claims, false advertising claims, and consumer class actions alleging deceptive business practices, in terms of what’s on the label, such as health claims, will become more common as the industry continues to grow.

Last month, Ben & Jerry's encouraged its consumers to use marijuana, which is still illegal in 17 states. Now the ice cream maker says it "can't wait" to create CBD-infused ice cream, once it's legal.

The Massachusetts store has the distinction of being closer to New York City than any other recreational dispensary in the country.

Millennials are keeping the weed wedding trend alive by hiring professional budtenders, dabaristas, creating CBD-infused cocktail stations, infused foods, gourmet desserts, and personalized vape pen party favors.

Female business owners face challenges starting and running cannabis operations, according to several such entrepreneurs who spoke at a recent industry conference in Santa Rosa.
