Dr. Raphael Mechoulam laid the scientific foundation upon which all modern cannabis knowledge is built.
With its government’s approval, Israel has been a pioneer in medical cannabis research and development for more than 50 years.
Knowing that morphine was isolated from the poppy and cocaine was isolated from the coca leaf, Dr. Mechoulam wondered about the main active component(s) in cannabis.
