The medication is meant for people who suffer from either Dravet syndrome or Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, both of which are conditions that cause seizures starting at an early age.
Both of these conditions are known to be resistant to traditional forms of seizure medication, but have been managed and controlled through administration of cannabidiol (CBD).
