The countdown is nearly over—the California State Fair is set to open its gates this Friday for a 16-day celebration of community, culture, and fun. Running from July 12 to July 28, this annual event will be held at Cal Expo in Sacramento and is expected to draw large crowds with its wide array of attractions.
Fairgoers can enjoy the festivities daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays, and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. As always, the fair promises thrilling carnival rides, diverse food options, live music, and family-friendly performances. But one of the most talked-about highlights returning this year is the Cannabis Experience, an exhibit that's growing in both size and popularity.
Now in its fourth year, the Cannabis Experience has expanded dramatically since its debut, growing from a modest 5,000 square feet to a sprawling 50,000-square-foot exhibit space. The Cannabis Experience Exhibit is restricted to guests aged 21 and over, preserving the family-friendly environment of the California State Fair while offering adults a unique opportunity to engage with and explore the state's dynamic and evolving cannabis culture.
"This is our fourth year running this exhibit, and we've worked hard to make it both engaging and compliant," organizers noted. "We partner closely with the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) and the Office of Cannabis Management to uphold the highest standards."
