First, Vermont craft beer. Now craft weed? - Cannabis News

Vermont has become known for high-quality, small-scale products like craft brew and artisan cheese. A group is now gearing up to do the same for weed.

The nonprofit Vermont Growers Association will look to create a culture of THC cannabis cultivation that matches that same spirit and values of other Vermont craft industries.

"The policies that we roll out in Vermont need to match the narrative of how we want our cannabis industry to look and feel. To achieve the same standard of quality — and economic impact — of regulated cannabis in Vermont as we have for our award-winning alcohol and food products," the association said in a new release Thursday.
