Being a female entrepreneur is incredibly difficult.

A recent study by researchers from Columbia University and the Wharton School of Business found that only 2% of venture capital funding goes to women entrepreneurs, despite the fact that they own 38% of U.S. businesses.

The good news is that cannabis is looking to break the green ceiling. A survey by Marijuana Business Daily revealed that women make up 36% of the leaders in the cannabis industry, including 64% of high-level positions.
