Lack of medical marijuana causing Kansans to leave state – Cannabis News

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A bill being pushed by a Kansas state senator from Kansas City to legalize marijuana for medical purposes was heard in committee on Monday.

Sen. David Haley wrote the bill. He says the bill is overdue and will help the state. “The benefits far outweigh the detriments,” Haley said.

The bill, SB 155, is not the first of its kind for Kansas, but as of yet, no bills legalizing marijuana for medical purposes have passed.
