Illinois state panel recommends pain, osteoarthritis for medical pot list

 
An Illinois panel voted Wednesday to recommend that medical marijuana be available for people who suffer from four different pain conditions and osteoarthritis.

The Medical Cannabis Advisory Board voted to add chronic pain syndrome, chronic post operative pain, intractable pain and chronic pain due to trauma to the list of conditions that can qualify patients to use medical marijuana.
