Four women are opening the first all-female-owned medical marijuana dispensary in Las Vegas.
Sahara Wellness is a brand-new facility that will be up and running next week. The owners say they will bring a female compassion to the industry that some of their male counterparts may not be able to offer.
"Our main goal is to have the patients...make sure they feel comfortable in our dispensary," said Brenda Gunsallus, one of the co-owners.
Gunsallus has never smoked marijuana in her life. Now, it is her life."We all wanted to be in an industry that we felt like was very beneficial for people," she said.
