In Maine, advocates for legalizing marijuana set up campaign headquarters ahead of November ballot – Cannabis News

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- Advocates for the legalization of possession and recreational use marijuana will be opening a campaign headquarters in Portland ahead of the November ballot.

The office will open at 640 Brighton Avenue on Thursday evening. Question One on the November 2016 ballot will read, "Do you want to allow the possession and use of marijuana under state law by persons who are at least 21 years of age, and allow the cultivation, manufacture, distribution, testing, and sale of marijuana and marijuana products subject to state regulation, taxation and local ordinance?"
