APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (KPHO/KTVK) - An effort to expand Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act is underway, thanks to an initiative filed with the state by the Arizona Marijuana Patient Society.

Josh Cronin and his two brothers founded AZMPS in November of 2016. The trio runs Independent Wellness Center in Apache Junction.

It's a clinic where qualifying patients can get medical marijuana cards.
