ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —Albuquerque’s city council has voted 5-4 in favor of decriminalizing the possession of 1 ounce or less of pot.

Instead of an arrest, those caught with that amount would get at ticket. Mayor Richard Berry has said he plans to veto the council’s vote.
