Veteran says VA should provide medical marijuana for vets - Cannabis News
"I see a lot of veterans that are addicted to opioids and I know that they would probably not be taking so many pills if they had another alternative."
A controversy is brewing involving veterans and medical marijuana.
VA doctors can’t prescribe it because it’s not approved by the FDA and it's illegal in the eyes of the federal government. Some veterans hope that will soon change.
