The Senate Agriculture Committee heard from federal agencies about efforts to implement the legalization of hemp at a hearing on Thursday.

Two high-profile Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday unveiled what they describe as “one of the most comprehensive marijuana law bills ever introduced in the US Congress.”

One of the states sued Colorado years ago for having legal pot, now it's putting legalization to the voters.

The chairman of a key congressional committee responsible for crime policy is teaming up with a senator running for president to file legislation on Tuesday that would federally legalize marijuana and seek to repair some of the harms of a war on drugs that has been waged primarily against people of color.
