Recreational marijuana may now be legal in Oregon, but it’s still forbidden at the state’s famous festival.

Since its inception in 1969, the Oregon Country Fair has gained a reputation for being a free-wheeling counterculture circus, complete with all the accouterments of such an affair: psychedelic art installations, public nudity and, of course, open consumption of marijuana.
