CBD & Hemp

KETCHUM, Idaho (KBOI) — It began when 26-year-old Mattie Mead discovered that hemp could be used as a building material his senior year of college.

For now, the Boring Hemp Co. is focusing on producing hemp seeds, which have been in short supply as the nascent industry finds its legs in the state.

A bipartisan group of lawmakers are again calling for industrial hemp to be legally separated from marijuana in the Controlled Substances Act, and advocates believe they might just have the political momentum to succeed.

EATON, N.Y. — For the first time in 80 years, a farm in New York State is legally growing cannabis.

BISMARCK, N.D. - North Dakota's first crop of industrial hemp is showing promise, with returns better than a lot of other commodities.
