TRENTON — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Friday he would not use federal laws to eliminate legalized marijuana in states like Colorado.
Donald Trump hasn’t said a whole lot on the issue of marijuana legalization, and everyone knows that he’s one of those that knows how to give an answer without really giving one.
"Does anybody trust anybody that's high to do anything?" the MSNBC host wonders.
In true Trump fashion, the man is all over the place, and could at best become a lukewarm ally for state’s rights, or at worst, the leader of a new pot pogrom akin to that of Ronald Reagan.

In 1990, Trump said he favored legalizing all drugs, but more recently he has said he opposes legalizing and regulating marijuana for adult use. He supports legal access to medical marijuana, and he has indicated support for letting states set their own marijuana policies.
