California's attorney general calls marijuana legalization 'inevitable' – Cannabis News

Attorney General Kamala Harris called the legalization of marijuana "inevitable" Tuesday.

Kamala Harris, who's the leading contender for California's open U.S. senate seat, was quoted by a KQED reporter at the Democratic National Convention.

Harris' office confirmed the comments.

As California's attorney general, Harris can't take a formal positive on November's adult use legalization measure because her office is responsible with providing an impartial and unbiased analysis of every ballot initiative.
